Vacancy and Eligibility Criteria

Out of the 5,204 vacancies, 1,296 are for male staff nurses and 3,908 are for female staff nurses. The eligibility criteria for the recruitment process require candidates to have completed a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course, a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Nursing, or a Post Basic Bachelor of Science (P.B.B.Sc.) in Nursing.

The candidates should also be registered with the Telangana State Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Application Process and Exam Dates

The application process for the recruitment will begin on May 8, 2023, and will close on May 28, 2023. The application form and other details will be available on the official website of the Telangana Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department.

The CBT will be held in multiple sessions, from June 12 to June 19, 2023, at various centers across Telangana state. The exam will be conducted in English and Telugu and will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions with a duration of two hours.

Selection Process and Salary

The selection process will be based on the candidate’s performance in the CBT. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 25,000/-, along with other benefits such as health insurance and pension.
