Haryana female cop killed in road accident on Samruddhi Mahamarg

A female police officer from Haryana lost her life in a road accident on Samruddhi Mahamarg in Maharashtra. The incident occurred when the officer, identified as Roshni Sharma, was on her way to her hometown in Panipat, Haryana. Sharma was travelling on a motorcycle and was hit by a speeding vehicle from behind, causing her death on the spot.

Sharma was posted in Maharashtra and was returning home after completing her duty. She was a sub-inspector in the Haryana police and had joined the force in 2017. The news of her tragic demise has left her colleagues and seniors in deep shock.

According to the police, the accident occurred on the evening of April 29 near Dongaon village on the Samruddhi Mahamarg in Kopargaon taluka of Ahmednagar district. The driver of the vehicle that hit Sharma has been arrested and charged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicles Act.
