Google’s annual developer conference, Google I/O, is set to take place on May 10, 2023. This year’s event will feature software announcements, product launches, and major Artificial Intelligence (AI) announcements, including Google’s highly anticipated AI chatbot, Bard. The event will be held in front of a limited live audience and will also be available online for free, with on-demand content in multiple languages.

Google has announced that the event will be divided into four sections focusing on mobile, web, AI, and cloud technologies. The company’s AI-based search engine, Google Bard, has already launched in limited beta in the US and UK, following the launch of ChatGPT 4.0 and Bing’s chat-based search. While Bard has some flaws and humorous responses, it represents a significant step forward in the way we interact with technology.

In addition to AI, Google is expected to unveil new hardware products at the event. These include the Google Pixel tablet, which will feature a nano-ceramic coating and a charging dock that turns it into a smart home speaker, and the Google Pixel Fold, a new foldable phone with a 7.6-inch primary screen and a 5.8-inch cover screen.

Registration for the event began on March 7, and Google has promised that the content will be available for a global audience. Some translated content, such as captioned videos, may be available shortly after the event. With the event fast approaching, there is much excitement and anticipation surrounding the potential announcements and developments that Google will unveil.
